On CalibrSports, every strategy is powered by our ML prediction engine and reviewed by the AI Advisor. Each House strategy targets a specific edge in the market:

How to Read a Strategy Card
When you browse the Strategies page, each card shows key metrics:
- ROI: The return on investment over the last 30 days using compound Kelly methodology. A +15% ROI means that if you started with £1,000 and followed every pick, your bankroll would be £1,150.
- Win Rate: The percentage of settled bets that won. A healthy win rate depends on the market — 1X2 strategies might target 55-65%, while Correct Score strategies might only need 15-20% because the odds are much higher.
- Total Bets: How many bets the strategy has generated in the tracking period. More bets means more statistical significance.
- Markets: Which betting markets the strategy covers (1X2, O/U, BTTS, AH, etc.).
The Equity Curve
Every strategy page includes an equity curve — a chart showing how a hypothetical bankroll would have grown (or shrunk) over time following the strategy. This is the most important visual because it shows not just the end result but the journey. A strategy with +20% ROI but a 40% drawdown along the way is very different from one with +15% ROI and smooth, steady growth.
The equity curve uses compound Kelly staking, meaning bet sizes scale with the bankroll. When the bankroll grows, bets grow proportionally — and vice versa. This is how real-world strategy execution works, and why we report compound ROI rather than flat-unit returns.
Choosing the Right Strategy
There is no single "best" strategy. The right choice depends on your goals and risk tolerance:
