Every prediction platform claims accuracy. We decided to prove ours — and in the process, built a scoring system that separates our best bets from our good bets. Here's how it works, why we built it, and what the numbers say.
The Problem With "AI Predictions"
Most betting prediction sites give you a list of picks with a probability percentage. But not all picks are created equal. A 65% probability on a Double Chance bet backed by strong form data, favorable head-to-head, and no injuries is fundamentally different from a 65% probability where the model is uncertain and the data signals are mixed.
We needed a way to communicate this difference to our users. That's why we built the composite scoring system.
How Composite Scoring Works
Every bet in our system goes through two layers before it reaches you:
- Layer 1: ML Models — Four machine learning models (pre-match predictor, Poisson goals engine, live in-game model, and bet selection filter) trained on 162 features and 18,000+ matches generate probabilities and identify edges across 13 betting markets.
- Layer 2: AI Advisor — An AI advisor stress-tests each bet against form, lineups, xG, live news, odds movement, and the system's own recent accuracy. It outputs research scores across multiple dimensions.
The composite score combines the model's win probability with the advisor's research scores into a single number. Think of it as a conviction score — how confident is the entire system (not just one model) in this bet?
Two Tiers of Picks
Based on the composite score, every bet gets one of two badges:
POWER PICK (Composite 50+)
Our highest-conviction bets. Both the ML models and the AI advisor strongly agree. These typically have strong structural support — favorable Elo gap, good recent form, no key absences, and positive market-level performance history.
MODEL PICK (Composite 38-50)
Strong picks where the model found a genuine edge, but the conviction level is moderate. The AI advisor may have flagged minor concerns — a slight form dip, a borderline composite score, or a market with limited recent track record. Still worth betting, but with lower conviction than a POWER PICK.
Bets below composite 38 are vetoed by our guardrail engine and never shown to users.
The Numbers So Far
Since launching the composite scoring system, here's how each tier has performed across 156 settled bets:

The standout: POWER PICK Double Chance bets are running at 85% win rate (11 wins from 13 bets). That's the composite system doing exactly what it's designed to do — identifying the highest-conviction opportunities in the most reliable market.
What This Means For You
If you want consistency: Focus on POWER PICKs. Fewer bets, higher conviction, and the track record supports it.
If you want volume: MODEL PICKs still carry positive edge. They win at the same rate but offer higher odds on average (1.66 vs 1.47), meaning the potential returns per bet are larger — with more variance.

We're continuously refining the composite equation based on real-world performance. Every 8 weeks, our system runs a deep recalibration — analyzing actual results vs predictions across all 10 leagues and 13 markets, then auto-adjusting thresholds where the data warrants it. The goal: a system that gets smarter with every bet.
