Definition
Confidence badges are the colored labels attached to every CalibrSports pick that communicate the source, conviction level, and AI advisor decision behind each bet. There are five badge types: POWER PICK (green, composite 50+), MODEL PICK (blue, composite 38-50), OPTIMIZED (amber), SCOUT PICK (blue), and LONGSHOT (yellow).

POWER PICK (green) — Composite score 50+. ML model flags Over 2.5 with +11% edge. AI Advisor confirms after reviewing team news and recent form. Highest conviction, full Kelly stake.
MODEL PICK (blue) — Composite score 38-50. Model found solid value but the composite equation scores it below the top tier. Still a strong, data-backed pick.
SCOUT PICK (blue) — Model did not flag this match. AI Advisor identifies that two key defenders are suspended, sharply reducing the host's clean sheet probability. Advisor proposes BTTS Yes based on this catalyst with a conservative stake.
How CalibrSports Predicts This
Every published pick receives a badge based on a composite equation that scores win probability, motivation context, news catalysts, and tactical factors. POWER PICK (composite 50+) indicates the highest conviction. MODEL PICK (composite 38-50) indicates a strong pick. OPTIMIZED indicates an advisor adjustment to stake or line. SCOUT PICK indicates an advisor-only bet with a named catalyst. LONGSHOT indicates low conviction — parked rather than removed, in the interest of full transparency.

Can a POWER PICK become OPTIMIZED between publication and kick-off?
In rare cases where breaking news arrives after publication, the advisor can issue an update. We send Telegram notifications for any material stake or line changes.
